Here’s a basic outline of what you can expect on a Muktinath Darshan tour:

  1. Getting There:
  • By Air: The quickest way to reach Muktinath is by flying to Jomsom, a small town in the Mustang region. From Jomsom, you can take a jeep or a pony to Muktinath.
  • By Road and Trek: Another option is to drive or trek from Pokhara. This route is more adventurous and involves a mix of road travel and trekking.
  1. Tour Itinerary:

Day 1st – Drive From Kathmandu to Tatopani

Pick up from your nearby places and leave from Kathmandu to Tatopani. After a 10hrs drive from Kathmandu, we reach Tatopani.

Overnight at Tatopani

(Lunch/Dinner)

Day 2nd –. Drive to Muktinath (9-10hrs)

Overnight at Jomsom

(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 3rd – Drive back to Pokhara (10hrs)

Overnight at Pokhara

(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 4th – Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Early morning sightseeing, boating, devis fall etc. and drive back to Kathmandu

  • Permits: You will need a TIMS card and an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) to trek or travel in the Mustang region.
  • Weather: Muktinath is at a high altitude, so be prepared for cold temperatures and possible altitude sickness.
  • Clothing: Pack warm clothes, especially for the high altitude, as well as comfortable trekking shoes if you plan to trek.
  • Health: It’s wise to carry some basic medications and consult with your doctor regarding altitude sickness.
